Choosing an ANBERNIC handheld
Which ANBERNIC should I start with?
For games up to PlayStation 1 and Game Boy Advance, the Linux models on the H700 chip are plenty: RG35XX H, RG35XX Pro, RG35XXSP, RG34XXSP, RG40XX H and RG40XXV. They mostly differ in shape. For PSP and Dreamcast, some PS2 and GameCube, or Android apps and game streaming, look at the models with the Unisoc T820 chip: RG406V, RG Cube, RG556, RG 476H and RG Slide.
Vertical, horizontal or clamshell: what is the difference?
Vertical models such as the RG35XX Pro, RG40XXV and RG406V are shaped like a Game Boy and are the easiest to pocket. Horizontal models such as the RG35XX H, RG40XX H, RG556 and RG Cube give your hands more room for long sessions and two-stick games. Clamshells (RG35XXSP, RG34XXSP and RG SP) fold shut, which protects the screen in a bag and puts the console to sleep when you close it.
Should I pick Linux or Android?
Linux models boot straight into a game menu and run emulators only, so there is little to set up. Android models add the Google Play Store, Android games, streaming apps and Moonlight for playing PC games over Wi-Fi. The RG353V, RG552, RG ARC-D, RG DS and RG VITA Pro can boot either system.
What does "No TF card" mean?
TF card is another name for a microSD card. Listings marked No TF card ship without one, so you will need your own card for games. Listings that name a 64GB, 128GB or 256GB TF card include that card in the box.
Can I play on my TV?
Most models can, through mini HDMI or USB-C video output, and many also pair with a Bluetooth controller. Each product page lists the ports in its specifications, so check there if TV play matters to you.
How long does delivery take, and what if it arrives faulty?
Standard delivery takes 10 to 15 business days and Instant Ship takes 3 to 7. If a console arrives damaged or does not work, tell us within 48 hours of delivery. After that, cover depends on ANBERNIC's terms for the model and we help you make the claim. The details are on our warranty page.

Yes. They are ANBERNIC's own hardware. We are an independent reseller, not ANBERNIC itself. If anything you receive does not look original, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a full refund.
