Retroid questions
Choosing a Retroid handheld
Pocket 5 or Pocket Flip 2?
Both run Android 13 on the Snapdragon 865 with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 5.5 inch 1080p AMOLED screen at 500 nits. The Pocket 5 is a flat handheld, 15.6 mm thick and 280g, with 27W charging. The Pocket Flip 2 is a clamshell that folds shut to protect the screen, with a hinge that opens to 178 degrees.
Does either come with a memory card?
No. Both have 128GB of built-in storage and a TF (microSD) card slot, so you can add your own card for more space.
Can I play on my TV?
Yes. Both output DisplayPort at 1080p through USB-C, using your own USB-C to HDMI adapter or dock.
What can they play?
Both run Android 13, so they install Android games and emulator apps, and both have active fan cooling and Hall effect sticks.
How long does delivery take, and what if it arrives faulty?
Standard delivery takes 10 to 15 business days and Instant Ship takes 3 to 7. If a console arrives damaged or does not work, tell us within 48 hours of delivery. After that, cover depends on Retroid's terms for the model and we help you make the claim. The details are on our warranty page.
Are these genuine Retroid consoles?
Yes. They are Retroid's own hardware; our supplier lists the Pocket 5 under its AMPOWN label. We are an independent reseller, not Retroid itself. If anything you receive does not look original, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a full refund.
Buying this brand from us
We buy from authorised distributors and check every model before it is listed. These pages set out exactly what that means, and what your cover is if something is wrong.
